It's been a while since I wrote anything. Not that I haven't got anything to rant about, but I find that once I have talked something through to myself, I cannot seem to summon up the effort to write it down. It is almost as if I have already written it down once, and don't wish to repeat myself.

DeleteI knew the name was being changed, out of demented political correctness. I wonder if they reprint Paul Brickhills' book the name will be changed? I have been past Nigger's grave many times whist at Scampton. It has always been meticulously maintained. It isn't just a memorial for a dog, but a whole piece of RAF, and British history. As for the suggested name, what the hell are they thinking of? I thought 'Blackie' had been settled on, after all, he was a black dog. It really pisses me off when a truth is changed so as not to 'offend' anyone, %99.9 of whom wouldn't even be aware of the name in he first place, unless, of course their noses are rubbed in it.
